A two-stage Portuguese citizenship application handled by a partner lawyer. Stage 1 is an expert viability assessment and document analysis to confirm your route and prepare your file. Stage 2 is submission to the Registry (Conservatória) and follow-through on your application.

- Identity and civil documents relevant to your route (birth, marriage or descent records)
- Proof of your route — e.g. residence history, or A2 Portuguese for the residency route
- Criminal record certificates from Portugal and your countries of residence

- A complete application submitted to the Registry (Conservatória) in Stage 2
- Follow-through on your application until the decision is issued
What happens after you order
1. Stage 1 — viability & analysis
A partner lawyer assesses the viability of your case, confirms the best route, and analyses your documents.
2. Prepare the file
We gather and prepare the complete file for your route, flagging any translations or certificates you still need.
3. Stage 2 — submission & follow-through
We submit your application to the Registry (Conservatória) and follow through until a decision is reached.
Timeline: Stage 1 is usually completed within a few weeks of receiving your documents; Registry processing of citizenship applications is lengthy and outside our control, commonly taking well over a year to a final decision.

For the residency route, yes — A2-level Portuguese is required, typically via the CIPLE exam, which you arrange and pay for separately. Other routes have their own requirements, confirmed in Stage 1.
Do you guarantee citizenship?
No. This is a facilitation service handled by a partner lawyer: we assess, prepare and submit your application to the highest standard, but the decision rests with the Portuguese authorities and cannot be guaranteed.
