Remote Portuguese Company Incorporation (Lda)
Your Portuguese company, incorporated remotely — company tax number included, from €1,290.
We incorporate a Portuguese company (Lda or single-shareholder Unipessoal Lda) for you remotely, including the company’s tax number and first-year setup. You do not need to travel — we handle the registration on your behalf. The €1,690 bundle adds first-year accounting onboarding and setup on top of the incorporation, so the company is compliant from day one.
Who this is for
- Founders who want a Portuguese company without travelling
- Entrepreneurs setting up an Lda or a single-shareholder Unipessoal Lda
- Businesses expanding into Portugal that need a local entity
- Owners who want incorporation and first-year setup handled together
What you provide
- Passports or IDs, and NIFs, of all shareholders
- Two or three proposed company names (in order of preference)
- Your intended business activity (CAE code, or a description we can map)
- A registered address for the company in Portugal
What you receive
- A registered Portuguese company (Lda / Unipessoal Lda)
- The company’s tax number (company NIF)
- Your incorporation documents
From order to done
1. Prepare & collect
We collect shareholder documents and NIFs, confirm the company name, activity (CAE) and registered address.
2. We incorporate
We handle the registration of the company remotely and obtain the company’s tax number (company NIF).
3. Hand over & set up
We deliver your incorporation documents and company NIF, and (on the bundle) begin first-year onboarding.
Timeline: Remote incorporation typically takes 1–2 weeks once all shareholder documents and NIFs are in order. Opening a business bank account is a separate step whose timing rests with the bank’s own compliance — digital/neo-banks can open within days, while traditional banks can take considerably longer — so it sits outside the incorporation timeline.
Included in the price

- Government and registry fees (paid to the authorities)
- Individual shareholder NIFs, if not already held (available as a separate service)
- Ongoing accounting (available as a monthly retainer; first-year accounting onboarding is part of the €1,690 bundle)

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to travel to Portugal to incorporate?
No. We incorporate the company remotely on your behalf. You provide the shareholder documents, NIFs and company details, and we handle the registration.
What is the difference between an Lda and a Unipessoal Lda?
An Lda is a limited company with two or more shareholders; a Unipessoal Lda is the single-shareholder version. We set up whichever fits your structure.
What does the €1,690 bundle add?
The €1,690 bundle adds first-year accounting onboarding and setup on top of the incorporation, so the company is compliant from day one.
Do you open the company bank account?
We help you set it up and point you to suitable options, but the account is opened by the bank and its timing is the bank’s — digital/neo-banks (such as Revolut) can be quick, while traditional banks’ compliance checks can take considerably longer. We keep this separate from the incorporation so the company timeline stays predictable.
Do shareholders need a Portuguese NIF first?
Yes, shareholders generally need a NIF for the incorporation. If you do not have one yet, we can obtain it first as a separate service, then proceed with the company.
