Timeline: File assembly typically takes a few weeks depending on how quickly you obtain your certificates; AIMA appointment and processing times vary considerably and are outside our control, so the card is generally issued several months after submission.

Yes. Permanent residence requires proof of A2-level Portuguese, typically through the CIPLE exam. The exam itself is arranged and paid by you and is not included in our fee.
