This Privacy Policy explains how GROWIN PORTUGAL, UNIPESSOAL LDA ("GrowIN Portugal", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website and our services, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Portuguese data-protection law (Lei n.º 58/2019).

2. What personal data we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email address, phone number, country of residence.
- Enquiry & service information — details you share so we can help you (for example your situation, nationality, and, where you engage a service, information needed to obtain a NIF, file taxes, incorporate a company or prepare a visa matter).
- Communications — messages you send us and our replies.
- Advisor case details — the circumstances you choose to provide to receive a Ledger-grounded assessment, such as nationality, residence, household, income basis and procedural needs. Please do not enter names, document numbers or other identifying or sensitive information unless we specifically request it through an appropriate service channel.
- Technical & usage data — IP address, browser/device type, and pages viewed, collected through cookies and analytics only where you consent (see our Cookie Policy).
We do not intentionally collect special-category data through the website. Where a specific service requires sensitive documents, we tell you and handle them under an appropriate legal basis.

5. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only as needed to deliver our services and run our business:
- Our in-house team (e.g. certified accountants) to deliver tax, NIF, accounting and company-setup services.
- Partner professionals — for example immigration lawyers or accountants — where you ask us to arrange a consultation or service. They act as independent controllers under their own terms.
- Service providers (processors) acting on our instructions — such as website hosting, AI infrastructure used to interpret Advisor messages, analytics (Google Analytics), email/marketing and payment processing. Our providers may change as our technology evolves; they process data only to provide the contracted functionality under applicable safeguards.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example website hosting or email tools based in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, and to meet legal obligations. The current Advisor conversation is stored in your browser's session storage; a plan is stored in your browser's local storage only when you choose to save it. Our infrastructure providers may retain limited request and security logs under their applicable contractual retention periods. Accounting and tax records are kept for the periods required by Portuguese law (generally up to 10 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected; have it erased; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any right, email hi@growinportugal.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
